Dryer Vent Service

Keeping you and your loved ones safe.

Ever notice that your clothes are taking longer to dry? Or that your laundry room seems warmer than usual when the dryer is running? What about a burning smell to your clothes when they come out of the dryer? These are a few signs that your dryer vent needs some attention - and it's not something you want to ignore.

Problems caused by a clogged dryer vent:

  1. Fires. The lint from your laundry can build up inside the dryer vent and the pipe that connects your dryer to the exterior of your home. This material is highly flammable and can easily cause a fire.

  2. Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. When the dryer vent is clogged, dangerous CO gases aren’t able to escape outside of your home. Instead, they can build up inside the vent and may seep out into the laundry room and into other areas of the home.

  3. Wear and tear on your dryer. When it longer - two or three cycles - to get your laundry dried, this puts a lot of strain on your dryer. It can lead to excessive wear and tear on the unit, and may cause you to need to replace your dryer faster than you normally would.

  4. Higher utility bills. A dryer that is running more often than it should quickly leads to increased use of energy. This will be reflected on your monthly utility bills each month.
