6 Steps for a Healthier Winter


  1. Establish healthy routines, like a healthy diet and appropriate exercise, to keep your body healthy and strong. If you’re not sure where to start, ask your doctor what’s right for you.

  2. Replace your air filters and make sure you have extras on hand, so you can replace them more often during the height of allergy season. Every two months is recommended.

  3. Have an air purifier installed in your ductwork to clean the air in your entire home. These eliminate allergens, viruses, and more.

  4. If you have indoor pets, be sure to bathe them regularly to keep them from bringing pollen into your house.

  5. Take your shoes off before you enter the house, so you don’t track germs and allergens into your home.

  6. Have your ductwork cleaned if it’s been over 10 years since that service was last completed.
