Employee Spotlight: Dylan Giesbrecht

Dylan Giesbrecht serves Stanfield customers as a service technician, but there’s much more to this Madison County native than his skillful service, friendly smile, and professional demeanor.

Dylan has been with Stanfield Air Systems for over a year, but he started in the HVAC industry several years ago. Understanding heating and cooling systems, how they operate, and how to repair them has come naturally to Dylan. He even passed his NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Core exam on the first try!

Professionally, Dylan enjoys interacting with customers and leaving their systems better than he found them. He enjoys a good challenge, so troubleshooting problems that arise with HVAC units energizes Dylan. He also likes working on Geothermal Systems, which harnesses the earth’s heat to make your home comfortable. This type of renewable, green energy is an area of interest for Dylan. His future goals include advancing his certifications with NATE Certifications for heat pumps and gas furnaces. Dylan’s favorite part of the job is getting to meet people, and helping them with their heating and cooling needs.

When he’s not busy helping Stanfield customers, Dylan enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and playing music. In the great outdoors, you can find Dylan hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and camping. One of his favorite kayaking spots is the Broad River with friends, and he enjoys camping around Lake Hartwell. Dylan is also a musician and plays the guitar, bass, drums and sings. Dylan plays bass in a band called Carjo that plays alt rock, classic rock, and 90’s music. You can catch him playing gigs around Madison County and Athens.
